Walk our corridors and you’ll find yourself in a hotel gallery filled with original works. Every painting is a hand-signed, one-of-a-kind piece, full of color, emotion, and depth.

Shirin Donia uses acrylic on canvas, blending materials in a technique called mixed media – think soft collages, structured surfaces, and even our very own floral HOCHKÖNIGIN tissue paper, woven into her artworks to add unique texture and emotional connection.

In 2022, the QUEEN moved in – a striking portrait by Shirin Donia that now graces our atrium. A symbol of femininity, strength, and individuality, she welcomes guests on their way to breakfast, to spa time, to mountain adventures.

About Shirin Donia – Art That Makes People Happy

“I want to create art that makes people happy.”
This is not just her motto – it’s what her work feels like.

Born into a multicultural family, Shirin Donia began painting at the age of two – every day, hours on end. Encouraged by her surroundings, her passion grew alongside her talent. Her travels through London, the Caribbean, Florida, the Middle East, South Africa, and Asia shaped her worldview and left marks in her brushstrokes.

She studied at art academies in England and the USA, with additional training in digital art in Mallorca. Today, she lives and creates near Frankfurt am Main, juggling her studio, motherhood, and a flair for glamour. Her works can be found in private collections all over the world.

And in the HOCHKÖNIGIN? She doesn't just paint our walls – she brightens our hearts.
