The tour starts at the Dientner Sattel near the Mittereggalm, leading you through a peaceful forest towards the Tiergartenalm.
Once you reach the Kingscab gondola line, a specially prepared ascent track for ski tourers guides you safely up to the top station of the Kingscab or Dachegg lifts.
From there, the trail continues through open terrain, along the ridge, to the Ahornstein summit at 1,855 metres.

Covering about 4.4 kilometres and an ascent of 530 metres, the climb takes roughly 2.5 hours –

For the descent, it’s best to follow the same route – especially when avalanche risk is increased.
